MEET OUR DOCTOR

Dr. Sumeet Singh is working as Senior Consultant Neurosurgery in Chandigarh , Mohali . He has done his MBBS from government Medical College Amritsar . After passing he joined Govt Medical College Patiala and did his MS in General Surgery. After passing he joined Prof VK Khosla in Fortis Mohali and begin his senior residency training in neurosurgery. After spending 2 years in Fortis Mohali, he joined SMS Medical College Jaipur from where he did his MCH in Neurosurgery . He came back to Chandigarh and joined Indus International Hospital situated in Dera Bassi, Ambala Highway. After completing successful 5 year in Indus International, Dera Bassi, he now joined Sohana Hospital, Sec-77, Mohali. He is trained to handle all the disease related to Brain and Spine

Dr. Sumeet Singh has done international OPD and served patients outside also for their ailments. He regularly visits Uganda for treating patients.

We must realize patients are only as healthy as their physician. A burnt out physician will make more mistakes, lack empathy, and retire early. Thus, changes need to be made in the medical field for all involved. Work requirements need to be less stringent. More support for physicians in the form of therapy and mentoring needs to be increased. Even new technology, which is intended to improve the healthcare system, needs to be looked at through not only an efficiency lens, but a human lens..
